Our Awards
R&D 100 Award
We are proud to have received a prestigious R&D 100 Award in conjunction with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Our predecessor company co-developed special desalination electrodes which facilitate treatment of large quantities of water more effectively than conventional technologies. Subsequently, we further refined the approach.
U.S. Industry Coalition (USIC) Awards
We were selected as a US Industry Coalition (USIC) member success story two years in a row, joining companies like Boeing, GE, DuPont, Ford and GM. USIC was a Department of Energy-sponsored nonprofit membership association of more than 100 high tech businesses, associations, and research institutions actively engaged in commercialization of technologies developed by scientists in nuclear weapons labs in the Former Soviet Union.
Through a USIC corporate membership, companies had access to a wide range of technology commercialization expertise and resources. Our involvement yielded numerous new water treatment and renewable energy components, now incorporated into our technology.
White House Roundtable
We were invited to a White House Roundtable which focused on the topic of advanced clean energy manufacturing. CAP was recognized by the Department of Energy, the Special Assistant to the President for Manufacturing Policy, and the Executive Director of the White House Business Council for our advanced seawater desalination technology that uses significantly less energy and avoids the use of chemicals.
